BodyWise was established to provide an evidence based, clinical approach to massage for residents of O'ahu. Our ultimate goal is to relieve muscular pain through our training and experience. Medical Massage is condition specific, and can be applied for those with muscle aches, pain, limited range of motion and flexibility, headaches, nerve pain, arthiritis, and more. It is common that we work with clients of a wide range, from pre and post-operative surgical care, to everyday muscle pain related to working on a computer.
We combine evidence-based techniques including Trigger Point Therapy/Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release and Orthopedic massage techniques to decrease inflammation and pain, and help to restore the body's natural state of mobility function.
Using a detailed intake analysis of the body, postural alignment, occupation, sports activities and considering any previous injuries, each session is tailored to the client's specific needs, with every massage or stretch movement intentional towards a positive outcome.
