A well-studied and scientifically backed modality that we commonly use for pre and post surgical procedures, edema and swelling, scar tissue management and more. Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. Regular massages within two weeks can be enhanced by this type of session.
